I spent last year's holidays at Kyushu island, the southern part of Japan. I decided to bring along a blank notebook and handy watercolor set, and I bought a few brush pens at bookstores I came across during my trip.

 

Here are some pages from my travels to Japan. All of these are freehand and drawn on the spot.

 

I also tried my best to give justice to Chinese and Japanese characters, considering the fact that I studied and worked on Chinese calligraphy in my secondary years as a student.
